About The Job:

HeyTony is looking to hire a full-time Jr. Technical SEO Specialist to help support our tools, courses, and membership community. The start date for this position is ASAP.

Ideally, you are a graduate from a program with a focus in communications, journalism, media, website development, or creative writing… OR you’re a strong communicator with a passion for websites and digital marketing.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and excited about helping businesses grow. You’ll be on the frontlines of our clients’ brands: optimizing websites, posting Google Business Profile Updates, publishing blog posts, building web pages, managing Google Ads, and resolving technical issues. Experience with the following is an asset: WordPress, Wix, Shopify, Canva, Photoshop, Gsuite, Google Search Console, and ChatGPT.

This is a fully remote position, but you must reside in Canada.

4 Day Work Week

We only work 4 days per week… and not 10-hour days. Regular 8-hour work days. We do not work on Wednesdays.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the technical SEO team
• Fixing technical website and SEO issues
• Working with the team to publish blog articles, updates, and page changes
• Write and schedule Google Business Profile Posts
• Optimize Google Search Ads Campaigns
• Building and updating simple landing pages and funnels
• Using analytics tools to make data-driven adjustments to websites and GBP profiles
• Optimize and convert image files
• Responsibilities may change as the position grows.

We work closely with businesses of all sizes in many different industries, ranging from mom & pop shops to larger national corporations.

Salary:

$40,000 / year

Paid time Off:

2 weeks
